Spring is coming so much more quickly than I expected now that March has arrived! It’s definitely creeping up on us. I love having seasonally appropriate nails so this is going to be fun- particularly since pastel nail polishes are some of my favorites. Here are some really fun ideas for colors and some of my favorite polishes within the color families.
Is there a season where rose gold isn’t appropriate? I’m going to go with “absolutely not!” Rose gold will go well with your spring wardrobe this year. Sally Hansen’s Xtreme Wear line (the $2-3 polish) has a shade called Rose Bold that is an absolute stunner.
Ah pastel. Who doesn’t love a soft pastel mani to welcome the springtime? Pastel can work with any of your favorite colors: purple, yellow, pink, whatever. Some of my personal favorites are the Sally Hansen XTreme Wear in Lacey Lilac and OPI Nail Lacquer in This Cost Me a Mint.
Like Rose Gold, nudes are great for all seasons. They’ll be sure to compliment any spring outfit you go for. My favorites is definitely the Sally Hansen XTreme Wear in Bare it all.
Blue and green are gorgeous colors that symbolize growth. So it’s definitely time to pull out the gorgeous spring greens and bright blues to signal springtime! A solid polish in this color family is Adesse Organic Infused Nail Laquer in Surfer Girl. I also have a green one that I like from a brand called Jesse’s Girl, but I just found out that the brand was sold, which is sad.
While I don’t know if anyone subscribes to the ‘no white in winter’ thing anymore, spring is a great time to break out that white polish. Sally Hansen Hard as Nails XTreme wear has a great opaque white called White On!
What do you think? What are you going to be wearing this season? Let me know in the comments!
