When I saw that Physician’s Formula released a potential dupe for my very favorite makeup remover ever, the Farmacy Green Clean, I was so excited to try it! It’s called the Physician’s Formula The Perfect Matcha Melting Cleansing Balm.

Packaging and Product

As you can see, these two products are very similar. They’re both light green balm style cleansers designed to melt off makeup. Both come with a plastic scoop that helps you get out product without contaminating it.

The full size of the Farmacy product is 3.2oz, costing $32. The mini is 1.7oz costing $22. Physician’s formula is $8 or so for 1.4oz of product. So a definite cost improvement.

Functionality

I’ve noticed absolutely no difference in the functionality of the product. I use this balm to remove my makeup before my full cleanse, and it does an amazing job. As a matter of fact, the Physician’s Formula one doesn’t cause issues when it gets in my eyes like the Farmacy one does.

Final Thoughts

Ultimately, I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I didn’t expect it to live up to the expensive Farmacy one, but it definitely did! If you’re a fan of the Farmacy Green Clean, give this a shot!

Have you tried either of these products? Let me know what you think!
