Skincare has been huge for me this year! I was doing a keto diet at the beginning of 2020 and it really impacted my skin. I went from normal/dry to normal/oily in less than a month! After I stopped doing keto, it took another few months for my skin to adjust. And then on top of that, I got maskne!
So I’ve had a hard time dialing in on good products this year. However, I found some gems and am still on the hunt for 2021.
Without further ado, here are my top favorite skincare products that I discovered in 2020!
Ulta Beauty Juice Infused Lip Oil
Another great Ulta product! This lip oil is extremely moisturizing, but not sticky or uncomfortable. It’s perfect to put on in place of lip balm. The flavors are great, and they don’t cause drying.
elf Cosmetics Holy Hydration Illuminating Eye Cream
Originally, I wasn’t sure about this product. I was looking for something to help with my dark circles and this wasn’t really the right product. It’s probably good for mild-moderate circles, but nothing as bad as what I deal with.
However, the product was moisturizing in the best way and helped make my under eye area look more hydrated and overall younger. It sunk quickly and completely into the skin. It actually is a great budget eye cream for those needing hydration.
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask
This lip mask is perfect for people with extremely dry lips. It has the texture of Vaseline, but it’s more emollient and sinks into your skin. The best way I’ve found to use it is to put it on before I start my makeup so by the time I get to my lipstick I can wear even an extremely matte product without any problems.
It’s definitely expensive, but you need very very little product so it lasts a long time.
Bliss Drench and Quench Moisturizer
After buying this on a whim, it’s become my go-to, holy grail moisturizer! It’s thin and sinks well into the skin. The product is extremely hydrating without being thick or greasy. On top of that, it’s fairly affordable and easy to get. I’ve already repurchased this once and will likely continue to do so.
What do you think? Have you tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments.
