Black Friday Ulta Haul 2019

This title is a tiny bit misleading because my actual Black Friday haul got stolen off of my old house’s porch. As annoying as it was, I also got a refund. The only downside is the gift I’d gotten my husband had sold out. So I just went ham and reordered. But the stuff I grabbed is absolutely amazing, I’m happy with all of it!

Colourpop Truly, Madly, Deeply Eyeshadow Palette

I’ve been eyeing this palette since it launched! And it’s my very first Colourpop palette too. It has a bunch of delicate pinks of assorted shades, as well as some simply gorgeous pressed glitters. The pressed glitters surprised me because I expected a little bit of additional stick, but I don’t mind that they need glitter glue. The shimmers are a slight bit more sheer than expected, particularly Mr. Sandman. That’s more of a duochrome topper than anything else. If you’re looking for something that can go dark, this isn’t your palette. But overall, this palette performed really well and had a lot of great shades. My only real complaint at this point is the lack of mirror.

Morphe Catch My Eye Brush Collection

A makeup artist friend of mine swears by Morphe brushes, so I grabbed this set of eye brushes to expand my tiny collection. I’m definitely a fan! One of them is the same as a Morphe brush I already had, but I paid less than $15 for 6 brushes. Considering that most Morphe eyeshadow brushes run around $7-10 each, this was a major deal even with one duplicate brush. They blend and place my product really well, and hold up well.

Makeup Revolution Renaissance Flick Eyeliner Pen

I never thought I’d find something that I liked better than my Physician’s Formula eyeliner, but here I am, wrong. The felt tip is really tiny, allowing for super precise lines. It’s REALLY black too, and is almost completely waterproof. Since I’ve been wearing it I’ve never seen it flake off. This stuff will stay on until you take it off. And it’s a matte black on top of that. If you’re looking for a great learner (or even advanced) wing eyeliner, this is what you need.

Colourpop x Disney Lux Lipstick Little Snow

While I’m not a die hard Frozen fan, this collection is absolutely gorgeous. I’m a sucker for Lux lippies as it is, and Little Snow was a gorgeous color dupe for my Huda lipstick in Trophy Wife (not a formula dupe at all, but a similar color). It’s a gorgeous deep mauve shade that flatters a range of skin tones. It wears well, though as a bullet lipstick it will require reapplication. It’s very opaque though, and the packaging is absolutely stunning.

Makeup Revolution Precious Stone Eyeshadow Palette in Emerald

If you’re looking for a green eyeshadow palette with a few pops of other shades and some neutrals for blending, Makeup Revolution has your back. The shimmers are gorgeous here, and the mattes blend together beautifully. The mirror is huge, like most of Makeup Revolution’s palettes. This palette will create a range of gorgeous looks, and is a must if you have green, hazel, or amber eyes especially.

Colourpop Ride or Die Cream Gel Liner Set

Kathleen Lights has a lot of good to say about the cream gel liners from Colourpop, so I figured this would be a great selection to try! I use these for tightlining and in my water line, and they do pretty well there. They are very thin liners and are smudgy too if you need them to be. However, once they dry they stay fairly well.

The black one isn’t as dark as I’d prefer, but it’s a really pretty shade and stays well. The bronze is a gorgeous pop of color to use, and it’s super metallic! The others perform really well in general.

As you can see, I went a little bit nuts, but still managed to keep my spending reasonable! What did you get on Black Friday? Have any of these products caught your eye? Let me know in the comments!
