Brand Focus: Makeup Revolution

You’ve heard me talk about this brand in my blog before. Makeup Revolution is a British makeup/skincare brand that creates quality, inexpensive makeup sold in drugstores in England. They have several sub brands including I Heart Revolution, Revolution Pro, Revolution Skincare, and Makeup Obsession(the only one sold outside of Ulta in the US). I’m going to be picking from all of these brands to find my favorite products!

Makeup Revolution Conceal and Hydrate Foundation

This has almost completely replaced my Maybelline Superstay. I get almost the same coverage but my skin gets a dose of desperately needed hydration. It looks flawless on my skin and doesn’t settle. And their shade range is great! The only thing to watch out for is not putting on too much. It can get super cakey if you’re not careful.

Makeup Revolution Forever Flawless Constellation Eyeshadow Palette

In need of a vibrant, colorful palette for your collection? This is a great, budget option. The Constellation palette has vibrant, cool colors reminiscent of space (think gunmetal, silver, purple, blue, neon pink, sea green, etc). It comes in really gorgeous metal packaging with galaxy prints on it. The colors blend beautifully (despite being vibrant) and don’t stain your brushes. There are a ton of palettes in this line now though, so if this palette isn’t your cup of tea, there’s one for you.

I Heart Revolution Chocolate Elixr Glow Palette

If you want to glow, this is an amazing product for you! This highlighting palette has a champagne-pink and a darker pink highlighter and is perfect for a range of skin tones. It can be applied both more subtly for those who prefer that, but you can also beam from space! It’s a beautiful, budget highlighter that doesn’t cause issues with skin texture.

Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighter in Rose Gold

This was one of the first liquid face products that I truly enjoyed. It’s a beautiful formula, and the rose gold is stunning. It’s probably not the ideal shade for me, but it’s a beautiful, subtle glow. If you’re around my skin tone, I’d recommend the shade Champagne instead for that natural glow-from-within.

Makeup Revolution x The Emily Edit The Wants Palette

My Wants palette gets an honorable mention. I absolutely adore this palette and the formula is great. It was one of my first Makeup Revolution products, and Emily is the one who brought Makeup Revolution to my attention in the first place. She was the first American beauty influencer that I’d seen talking about it. Her palette is beautiful, especially for first time makeup purchasers who prefer neutral but want some more fun, colorful options as well!

Have you tried any of these? What are your favorite products from this brand? Let me know in the comments!
