Drugstore Makeup I Can’t Live Without

Today we’re going to look into some of my ride or die drugstore makeup. Good drugstore makeup is wonderful. With good drugstore makeup you can have just as beautiful of a makeup look as you can with expensive ones.

I personally believe that you can duplicate almost anything in the drugstore that you can find in expensive brands.

I’ve had some really great luck with drugstore makeup over the years. These are some of my absolute favorite drugstore products that I have – or will – repurchase.

elf Cosmetics 24 hr Hydrating Camo Concealer

This is, full stop, my favorite concealer. It’s hydrating enough that my dryer skin doesn’t get crepey or anything, but the coverage is absolutely amazing.

The product lasts quite a while on the skin and dries down nicely as well. It’s got a decent shade selection too, though it’s not the best shade selection of concealer and elf could stand to do more.

Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer

I wasn’t sure about this bronzer when I first got it, but it’s my everyday bronzer right now! It’s got a gorgeous warmth and is light enough to blend into my skin without looking weird.

It’s a perfect summer bronzer, but the lighter shades are also great for lighter tones in the wintertime as well. It’s not so warm that I can’t use it to contour as well.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

Usually, I’m a loose powder person. I used to really not like pressed powder- mostly because I was using such high coverage foundations that it was unnecessary. But now that I use ligher coverage, a good pressed powder complements it nicely.

This one from Rimmel has enough coverage to smooth things out, but it doesn’t have so much that I look cakey. It’s also pressed firmly into the pan so I don’t end up overdoing it on the powder. I’ll even wear it with higher coverage foundations!

Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Lipsticks

If you want a lipstick that’s going to look great for hours straight even if you have to eat, this is the lipstick you need in your life. No matter what shade you have – from pink to maroon to grey – these high pigment lipsticks will stay on for hours. When they do wear down, they do so nicely and don’t make you look silly.

There are quite a few shades too! There are the normal nudes and pinks, plus some darker plummy reds, but there’s also a black, a deep blue, some browns, and they’re constantly coming out with new shades too!

Wet n Wild Color Icon Palettes

I know I sound like a broken record, but these palettes are amazing. 5 shades, a mix of shimmer and matte, and just a great formula. I use them on days when I don’t want to do super intense makeup and they are perfect.

The pigment is amazing, the mattes blend beautifully, they’re just good palettes and at like $4 each, they’re an absolute steal.

Just a note, this is nowhere even remotely resembling an exhaustive list. I could go on for days, but I figured I’d limit it to a few of my favorites to keep this from getting too long.

What are some favorite drugstore products you guys enjoy? Let me know so that I can try them!
