As small, indoor herb gardens and planters continue to gain in popularity, it’s always fun to try different natural remedies to see what can help your skin!
Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe plants are fairly easy to grow- if I can grow them then anyone can! Aloe is great for skin irritation and inflammation such as sunburns, eczema, or acne. It’s also a fantastic hydrator – use it as a mask to quench thirsty skin, or even use it to shave!
If you have a lavender plant, you can add it to a serum or something similar to help reduce redness. Lavender is all about soothing!
Add Rosemary to an essential oil blend that you spray on your hair! Rosemary is believed to help put off balding and greying, as well as promoting hair health.
Rose oil from rose petals is great for hormonal acne! Rose water is also great for reducing inflammation and redness.
Ever seen cucumbers on someone’s eyes? Cucumber slices are great for reducing eye puffiness and dark circles.
