There wasn’t anywhere near as much new makeup this month as last month, but there were a few things I got a chance to try! Most of what I used was decent quality products, no real duds this time.
Mary Kay Eye Primer
This primer is about average. It works well, but if you need a tinted primer this isn’t going to help. A little goes a long way with this product.
My eyeshadow sticks really well, and the product stays sticky long enough to get a full look on. Everything blends well too. Overall a good primer, though not one I’d repurchase because I need a tinted one.
Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara
If you’re looking for a natural mascara, this is going to work really well for you. It gently blackens the lashes and gives a little bit of length, but not much else. It will hold a curl decently as well. It’s not dramatic at all, but it’s fairly decent for the price.
elf Cosmetics Mint Melt Eyeshadow Quad in Mint to Be
This is my major win from this haul. elf’s little quads are great quality, and the shadows in this one are amazing. It’s a mint green theme with a beautiful transition shade, a great crease deepening and liner shade, and two gorgeous lid shimmers that can be used separately or together.
It would look especially gorgeous on brown eyes and make them stand out. This was the one piece from the Mint Melt collection I absolutely had to try. And I’m so glad I did!
Have you tried any of these products before? What did you think?
