Inclusive foundation ranges can be difficult to find – especially if you’re stuck looking at the drugstore. And it’s more than just inclusivity, it’s quality.
One important note is that most of these are Medium to Full coverage foundations. Lighter coverage foundations don’t need quite as many shades and they have a wider range of tones that can use each shade.
On average, a foundation range has between 10 and 20 foundation shades in their line. Every foundation on this list has at least 35 shades, preferably more.
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Foundation
This is probably the most well known foundation with a large shade range. It has over 50 shades of assorted undertones, for a wide range of skin tones. Most people can find a shade that would work well for them in this range!
There’s a hydrating and matte version too – all in the same shades. If you want a fuller coverage foundation, this one is absolutely fantastic.
Maybelline FitMe! Range
The FitMe range – both Matte and Poreless and Dewy and Smooth – is one of the best drugstore foundations on the market from a well rounded perspective. The quality is there, but it’s also got a range of 40 different shades. And, on top of that, it costs less than $5 a bottle.
You can get it at Target, Walmart, Ulta, or your local drugstore!
L’Oreal True Match Foundation
L’Oreal’s bottle foundation is probably one of the most well known inclusive foundations out there. They’ve definitely been doing it the longest! With 45 shades, they try to capture a wide range and grabbed the market before anyone else. It’s not as cheap as the Maybelline foundation, but a solid choice nonetheless.
MAC Studio Fix Fluid
MAC’s Studio Fix Medium Buildable foundation has over 60 shades! There are plenty of tone ranges and undertones – even folks who never find a foundation that works for them should be able to find a shade of this product that works for them.
Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Foundation
Thanks to an impulse purchase, this is my absolute favorite foundation right now! It’s a gorgeous velvety skin full coverage foundation that works for both oilier and dryer skin. With over 40 shades, there’s a good chance that you’ll find your shade!
And don’t worry about the small bottle – you don’t need much to get full coverage.
What’s your favorite shade inclusive foundation? Have you tried any of these? Let me know in the comments!
